While every event is unique, typical booking fees are $1,000 US per day plus travel expenses for your photographer. A well powered chase boat that provides some protection from waves is required. Depending on local conditions and the size of the racing area, a driver for the chase boat may be helpful. If you are hosting a large event or have unique requirements, we often send support staff to aid our photographers throughout the regatta.

Once you have scheduled your regatta, yacht launching or event you are ready to book Boatyard Photography to shoot your event. Our photographers enjoy talking with local sailors about the sailing area and discuss nautical photography style and composition, so gathering people together for an evening discussion is always encouraged.

Call Boatyard Photography at (561) 206-4346 as early as possible. It is not unusual for our photographers to be booked 12-18 months in advance, but there are times of any year when we may be available within one weeks notice. It is never a bad idea to call and ask.
